Exchange your tickets

Ticket exchange is an exclusive perk of Membership. You can exchange your tickets* for a new performance date of the same show or for a different show in the season. Ticket exchanges are based on availability, but we will do everything possible to help you get the date you want. Return your tickets to Member Services no later than 48-hours before the performance you were scheduled to see, in one of three ways:

In Person: (free of charge) At the New Victory box office. (Please note that no exchanges may be made in the half-hour prior to a performance.)
By Mail: ($3 processing fee) Mark your envelope with “Attn: Member Services Exchanges.”
By Fax: ($3 processing fee) Call 646-223-3010 to check availability. Then tear your tickets in half and fax a copy of both halves, on one sheet of paper, to 646-562-2200.

By mail and fax, be sure to provide three alternate show dates, your name, Member number, phone number(s) and a credit card number for the $3 processing fee.

*Upgrade charges will apply when exchanging into higher priced tickets and there are no refunds. New Vic Studio exchanges may be made between workshops only, no later than one week before the date of the original workshop. Subject to availability and age guidelines.

CAN'T USE YOUR TICKETS?

Don't just let your seats go empty. Empty seats are a big disappointment to the performers, and a waste of money for you. Instead, exchange or donate your tickets. It's easy to make your seats available to others who really want tickets to the show.

DONATE YOUR TICKETS

Simply call Member Services no later than a half-hour before show time. Have your tickets on hand when you call. Donating your tickets entitles you to a 100% tax-deductible donation and makes your seats available for other people who are looking for tickets to that performance. (In order to receive a receipt for tax purposes, you must return your tickets by mail to Member Services. Mark the envelope "Attn: Member Services Donations.") Click here for address.

PRIORITY ORDERING

As Members, you'll receive the 2009-10 season brochure before anyone else, allowing you priority access to tickets for next season. You'll also get advance notice of any extended programming at The New Victory Theater, or other shows presented by The New 42nd Street, with an exclusive priority ordering period. Previous programs have include The Flaming Idiots in their last show ever and Mikhail Baryshnikov's White Oak Dance Project.

EMAIL PERKS

We promise to send only emails you'll need, like ticket confirmations, performances reminders and "More Abouts" for the shows in the season, and advance notice for ordering tickets to New Victory special events. Don't miss out on prime seats and other great treats. Be sure to give us your email address today and add these two addresses as contacts so that our emails don't end up in your bulk mail folder:

LOST TICKET INSURANCE

Lost your tickets? No problem. You're insured! Simply contact Member Services, give them your Member number, and they'll have replacement tickets waiting for you when you come to the Theater.

BIRTHDAY TICKETS

Celebrate your Birthday with discounted tickets! In addition to your 6 Member tickets, get up to 12 more at a 20% discount. (Extra tickets are available at full price.) Unfortunately, the Theater does not offer space for a pre- or post-show party. However, there are many area restaurants that are family-friendly and can accommodate groups. Call us for suggestions.

NEW VIC STUDIO: FAMILY WORKSHOPS

New Vic Studio: Family Workshops can be ordered at the same time you order your tickets!

Join The New Victory for these fun and educational workshops led by theater professionals. Each workshop, targeted to specific age groups, focuses on a different theatrical genre related to the show playing at The New Victory. See New Vic Studio: Family Workshops page for a list of workshops in the 2008-09 season and information on how to register.

Workshops are also open to non-Members as well. ($12/Members; $17 non-Members)

DISCOUNTS

In addition to a discount on show and Studio tickets, New Vic Members enjoy great discounts at restaurants, parking garages, stores, cultural centers and more when they present their exclusive coupons.
The 2008-09 Member handbook will mail later this summer. You will find your coupons in the back of the Member handbook included in your Member ticket packet.

OTHER BENEFITS

The New Victory also offers:

Sign-Interpreted Performances: Most productions at the New Victory Theater have a sign-interpreted performance. Look in the complete Performance Schedule on each show page to find the date and time. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair seating must be ordered at least a week in advance by calling 646-223-3010, and is subject to availability.
Assistive Listening Devices: ALD's are available for patrons who have hearing impairments. Ask our Front of House Staff for a device when you arrive at the Theater.
Large Print Programs: Large print programs are available for patrons who have visual impairments.
Booster Seats: For those audience members who need an extra little lift, booster seats are available. Once you've been shown to your seats, ask any New Victory usher for a booster, or pick one up yourself from the lower lobby. Please note that booster seats are only for use in the orchestra section.

A beautiful lower lobby - complete with a concession stand that offers healthy snack options. The lower lobby also has bathrooms, water fountains, a video monitor, phones, lockers, and a merchandise stand where you can buy New Victory and show-related memorabilia.
